Solutions to common faults of automatic spray guns Wa-101

The automatic spray gun is not cleaned thoroughly due to improper use and maintenance, or long-term use, resulting in blockage of air or paint channels, or because the gaskets and springs are not replaced in time due to aging, etc., resulting in air leakage and paint leakage from the spray gun. There will be some failures:

Phenomenon 1: The shape of the spray fan is deviated from the center of gravity to one side

Reason: the center hole of the air cap or the atomization hole is blocked;

Countermeasure:

1. Clean the atomizing cap;

2. Replace the atomizing cap.

Phenomenon 2: Left or right

reason:

1. The fan control hole on one side of the gas cap is blocked;

2. The air cap is damaged;

Countermeasure:

1. Clean the atomizing cap;

2. Replace the atomizing cap.

Phenomenon 3: The center of the spray pattern is too thick

reason:

1. The viscosity of the sprayed coating is too high;

2. The spraying pressure is too low;

3. The diameter of the nozzle and the thimble increase and decrease due to wear;

Countermeasure:

1. Spray gun, lower the viscosity of paint;

2. Increase the spray pressure;

3. Replace the nozzle set.

Phenomenon 4: Sprinkler Splitting

reason:

1. The viscosity of the coating is too low;

2. The spraying pressure is too high;

3. The inner diameter of the fan control hole is too large;

4. The paint is not enough;

5. The atomizing air channel is blocked;

Countermeasure:

1. Increase the viscosity of the coating;

2. Reduce the spray pressure;

3. Replace the nozzle set;

4. Add enough paint;

5. Clean the air channel of the spray gun.

Phenomenon 5: Jumping the gun

reason:

1. The nozzle is not tightened or installed properly;

2. The needle seal kit is loose;

3. The connection nut of the spray gun is loose (the lower pot spray gun);

4. Insufficient paint in the pot;

5. The nozzle set is damaged;

Countermeasure:

1. Tighten the nozzle or clean and install the nozzle set;

2. Fasten the thimble sealing kit;

3. Tighten the connecting nut;

4. Supplementary coating;

5. Replace the nozzle set.

Phenomenon 6: The spray pattern is heavy up or down

reason:

1. The air outlet of the nozzle, thimble or air cap is blocked by debris;

2. The air cap or nozzle is damaged;

Countermeasure:

1. Cleaning nozzle set;

2. Replace the nozzle set.

Phenomenon 7: No paint or a small amount of paint

reason:

1. The air supplement hole of the spray gun cover is blocked or the air cap and suction pipe are seriously blocked;

2. There is no paint in the pot;

3. The thimble stroke is too small;

Countermeasure:

1. Clean the air supplement hole, air cap and suction pipe on the lid;

2. Supplementary coating;

3. Rotating the paint flow adjustment knob to increase the stroke of the needle valve is too small.

Phenomenon 8: The paint leaks from the nozzle of the spray gun

reason:

1. The thimble sealing nut is too tight;

2. There is a foreign body inside the nozzle port;

3. The nozzle and thimble are not matched or damaged;

4. The thimble return spring is broken or not installed;

Countermeasure:

1. Loosen the thimble sealing nut;

2. Clean the nozzle;
